DESCRIPTION:The CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon is almost here! \nListen Live on Saturday\, October 18\, 2025 to CKNX AM 920 from 9am to 4pm with updates on 101.7 The One and CoOL 94.5 \nThis year\, all funds raised for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation through the CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon will go directly towards the purchase of new Centrella Patient Beds for our Inpatient Unit. \nEach bed costs $17\,853\, and our goal is to raise $35\,706 to purchase 2 beds. \nOur Inpatient Unit has a 22-bed capacity\, caring for patients who need acute care\, complex continuing care\, and palliative care. Last year alone\, more than 400 patients were admitted. Our dedicated team\, which includes nurses\, occupational therapists\, physiotherapists\, social workers\, dietitians\, PSWs\, and speech-language pathologists all rely on safe\, reliable beds to provide the best care possible for patients. \nThe new Centrella Beds feature advanced technology to help with early deterioration detection\, fall and injury prevention\, pressure injury management\, and improved clinical efficiency. They not only enhance patient comfort and safety but also support our staff in delivering high-quality care. \nBy donating\, you’re helping ensure patients at Clinton Public Hospital receive care in a safe\, comfortable environment.
