On Thursday, June 17th, members of the Clinton Lions Club (CLC) presented the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation (CPHF) with a cheque in the amount of $7000. The donation from the Lions Club comes from their portion of funds raised from their most recent Catch The Ace lottery, in which they partnered with Clinton’s Royal Canadian Legion Branch. With donations from their previous Catch The Ace raffles, this brings their total donations from this lottery to $17,000 for the Clinton Public Hospital.
This will be the final donation made to the Foundation from the Clinton Lions Club, as they plan to disband at the end of June. It has been a great pleasure to have the Clinton Lions Club as such a caring community organization. Throughout the years, members of the club have volunteered their time and talents to make a difference in this community, raising funds for Clinton Public Hospital and other local charitable causes. The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and staff wish to express our sincere gratitude for their commitment, hard work and compassion. This service club has left a positive imprint on the lives of our families, friends and neighbours. We will miss having the Clinton Lions Club as part of this community.
Throughout the years, the Clinton Lions Club has donated an accumulative total of $54,225 to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, in support of capital equipment and projects at the hospital. We thank them for their support!
