The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation Board is compiled of 11 volunteer directors and it is my honour to recognize these outstanding volunteers, as we celebrate National Volunteer Week (April 18-24).
These eleven individuals dedicate their time and talents in a commitment to enhance patient care services and support the facilities of Clinton Public Hospital, through raising, managing and distributing funds for the purchase of capital equipment and projects at our hospital. I am truly fortunate to have such a wonderful, compassionate group of volunteers to work with, in our shared passion to support the healthcare of our community.
While fundraising is a large component of our volunteer directors’ commitment to our hospital, additional responsibilities they take on include governance, public relations and financial management. Our Executive Committee consists of our Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer, each having additional responsibilities for their individual roles. Several directors have taken on the responsibility of chairing one of four sub-committees of the Foundation and each of our directors sit on at least one of these committees, which consist of the Fundraising Committee, the Public Relations and Planned Giving Committee, Finance, Investment and Property Committee, and the Nominating and By-Laws Committee.
These eleven individuals make the commitment to attend regular monthly board meetings, committee meetings, fundraising activities and so much more. They lend expertise and insight from different perspectives, coming together for the common goal to support the patients of Clinton Public Hospital. Please join me in a round of applause for this group, in celebration of all they do for our community.
