Last year, Kelsey Johnston approached the Foundation about hosting at third-party fundraiser at the three Michael’s Pharmasave locations in Clinton, Bayfield and Goderich, with proceeds to be donated to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation. As the General Manager of Front Store Operations with Michael’s Pharmacy, Kelsey had virtually attended a national work-related conference, where they held a competition throughout the two-day event in which attendees could enter for an opportunity to win a cash prize. Kelsey was the lucky winner and instead of enjoying her winnings alone, she decided that she was going to pay it forward by using her winnings to fundraise even more money, in support of local healthcare.
Kelsey decided that instead of donating the money directly, that she would instead put it towards the purchase of stuffed animals which were sold in store, to create an even larger amount to donate to our foundation. Stuffed animals were sold for $10 each, with the full $10 from each bear was donated to CPH Foundation.
Last week, Michael’s Pharmacy presented us with a cheque in the amount of $1500 from the proceeds of these sales! We are truly grateful to Kelsey and Michael’s Pharmacy for this wonderful donation and for their continued support of the Clinton Public Hospital! Thank you so much! Your generosity and continued support is very much appreciated!
