Your Generosity Lights the Way
Together We Brighten the Future of Care

Sharing Light & Inspiring Hope

A special holiday message from our Board Chair, celebrating the care you help make possible.

As the holiday season approaches, we reflect on the past year and the incredible generosity of our donors and volunteers. Our community continues to demonstrate unwavering commitment to Clinton Public Hospital, ensuring that quality healthcare remains close to home.

While government funding supports day-to-day operations such as staffing and programming, it is through private donations that our hospital is able to purchase vital equipment and make necessary upgrades. Your generosity keeps our hospital strong, modern, and ready to serve when it matters most.

Thanks to your continued support, the Foundation was able to disburse $432,261.21 to Clinton Public Hospital in the 2024-25 fiscal year. Your gifts made possible the purchase and support of the following equipment and projects: Ultrasound Disinfection Unit, GE Carescape Patient Monitors, Trauma Stretcher, Hematology Analyzer, Tornado Disinfector, Hoyer Lift, Patient Bed, OR Bed/Table, Ice Machine/Water Dispenser, Broselow Cart, Blanket Warmer, Sleeper Chair, Patient-Specific Fridge, Sara Stedy, EZ Turn Transfer Disc, Coffee Cart, Ophthalmic Chair (Hensall Co-op Funded), and our year 1 commitment towards the new Ophthalmic Microscope.

We could not have done this without you. Your generosity directly impacts the care provided to patients every single day, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

When we hear stories from patients and families, we are reminded how fortunate we are to have compassionate and skilled professionals here in our community ready to care for us no matter what we’re facing. In the past year alone, 8,775 patients were cared for in our Emergency Department, 35,170 lab and imaging tests were performed (including X-rays, ultrasounds, and bone density scans), 2,961 patients were seen in outpatient clinics and physiotherapy, 2,147 procedures were completed, and 447 inpatient bed occupancies were recorded.

Each of these numbers represents someone from our community. Perhaps a neighbour, friend, or family member who received care close to home.

Your support ensures that we can continue to provide this essential care, keeping our hospital viable and our community healthy.

Whether you made a gift in memory of a loved one, supported a campaign, participated in an event or lottery, or volunteered your time – thank you. Your kindness directly impacts patient care every single day.

As we look ahead, we hope you’ll continue supporting our mission to ensure Clinton Public Hospital remains well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of our community.

On behalf of the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and staff, we extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones this holiday season.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness and thank you for your support!

With Gratitude,

Darren Stevenson
