This year, all funds raised for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation through the CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon will go directly toward the purchase of two new Centrella Patient Beds for our Inpatient Unit.
Each bed costs $17,853, and our goal is to raise $35,706 to fund two of these essential pieces of equipment.
Our Inpatient Unit has a 22-bed capacity, caring for patients who need acute care, complex continuing care, and palliative care. Last year alone, more than 400 patients were admitted. Our dedicated team — including nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, PSWs, and speech-language pathologists — all rely on safe, reliable beds to provide the best care possible.
The new Centrella Beds feature advanced technology to help with early deterioration detection, fall and injury prevention, pressure injury management, and improved clinical efficiency. They not only enhance patient comfort and safety but also support our staff in delivering high-quality care.
By donating, you’re helping ensure patients at Clinton Public Hospital receive care in a safe, comfortable environment, close to home.
