Honouring Community Support: Thank You to the Royal Canadian Legion

At Clinton Public Hospital, community generosity continues to shape and strengthen the care we provide every day. We are sincerely grateful to acknowledge a recent grant of $7,411 received through the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation.

We were especially honoured to receive the cheque in person from representatives of our Local Clinton Branch 140, a moment that served as a meaningful reminder of the deep connection between our hospital and the community we serve.

This generous funding has enabled the purchase of a new procedural transport stretcher, an essential piece of equipment that will directly support patient care. Procedural transport stretchers play a critical role in ensuring patients are moved safely and comfortably throughout their hospital experience. This stretcher will be particularly beneficial for our endoscopy patients, enhancing both comfort and clinical efficiency while supporting patient dignity.

More than the equipment itself, this contribution reflects the Royal Canadian Legion’s enduring commitment to community well-being and local healthcare. Support like this helps ensure Clinton Public Hospital can continue delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care close to home.

To the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation, and the members of Local Clinton Branch 140, thank you for your generosity, partnership, and dedication to our community. Your support truly makes a difference for our patients and healthcare teams.
