Diamonds & Denim Gala Raises $150,000 for Clinton Public Hospital
The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation is thrilled to reflect on the incredible success of our sold-out 2026 Diamonds & Denim Gala, held on Saturday, June 13.
The evening brought together over 220 community members, healthcare supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and local businesses for an unforgettable celebration in support of Clinton Public Hospital. With guests ranging in age from 27 to 95, the Gala showcased what makes our community so special: people of all generations coming together to invest in healthcare close to home.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was one of celebration and community. Libro Hall was transformed into a spectacular venue thanks to the creativity and hard work of NJS, Backyard Flower Shop, and Gina Wise, alongside Foundation volunteers. The Clinton Public Hospital Auxiliary once again created beautiful table settings, while White Carnation delivered an exceptional meal with first-class presentation. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed outstanding entertainment from Upside of Maybe, with Michael Bannerman serving as Master of Ceremonies and keeping the energy high from start to finish.
Supporting the Future of Care at CPH
The Biennial Gala is part of the Foundation’s Supporting the Future of Care at CPH fundraising campaign, which also includes Legends Day at Clinton Raceway on July 26 and the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on August 26.
Together, these events share one ambitious goal: raising $300,000 to fund top-priority medical equipment and hospital upgrades that will help ensure exceptional care continues to be available close to home.
While the Foundation had hoped to raise approximately $200,000 through the Gala alone, the event has generated $150,000, which is still an outstanding achievement.
“In a year that includes several major fundraising initiatives, including the Gala, Legends Day, our Golf Tournament, and the CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon this fall, we’re incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our community,” said Tosha Yantzi, Executive Director of the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation. “There are many worthy causes seeking support, and we’re humbled by the number of people who continue to choose to invest in their local hospital.”
Community Support Makes It Possible
One of the Foundation’s most important messages is that hospital equipment is not funded by the government. Essential equipment, from diagnostic technology to patient care equipment and specialized medical devices, is purchased through donations from the community.
Events like the Gala make those purchases possible while also bringing people together to celebrate, connect, and invest in the future of local healthcare.
One of the highlights of the evening was the generosity of Anstett Jewellers, who donated two stunning diamond pieces valued at approximately $7,000. The beautiful items became centerpieces of the live auction and perfectly complemented the Diamonds & Denim theme.
The Foundation extends sincere appreciation to every sponsor, donor, auction contributor, volunteer, healthcare staff member, and attendee who helped make the evening such a tremendous success.

Behind the Scenes
An event of this scale would not be possible without an incredible team of dedicated volunteers.
While every member of the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation Board of Directors contributes to the success of the Gala, special recognition goes to the Gala Committee: Marianne Menzies (Fundraising Chair), Jane Muegge, Pam Stewart, Sandy Campbell, Dave Jewitt, and Darren Stevenson.
“For a small Foundation team, organizing an event of this size is a significant undertaking,” said Yantzi. “It’s one of the reasons we host the Gala every two years, and we’re so thankful for the countless volunteer hours that make it all possible.”
We would also like to recognize a few additional individuals and organizations whose contributions helped make the evening a success. Thank you to Clinton Raceway for providing our bartending team, and Ben Lobb for once again serving as our Live Auctioneer. Their generosity and support played an important role in creating a memorable evening for our guests.
Looking Ahead
At the end of the day, the Diamonds & Denim Gala was about much more than fundraising.
It was about seeing our community come together in support of something bigger than themselves. It was about ensuring patients and families can continue to receive exceptional care close to home for years to come.
The success of the Gala is a reflection of the generosity, compassion, and commitment of our community.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and supported the event – thank you. Every dollar raised will help ensure Clinton Public Hospital has the equipment it needs to continue providing outstanding care when our community needs it most.
